James C. Grosso, Esq.
Jim Grosso has over 25 years’ experience litigating complex high-exposure cases throughout New York State. For 19 years, Jim was employed exclusively by several global insurance companies litigating cases in 53 counties in New York State. He has successfully defended clients in products liability, construction site accidents, environmental, vehicular accidents, and premises liability cases.
Jim is an adjunct professor at Keuka College teaching in their organizational management and criminal justice programs. Jim is a sought-after lecturer and presents annually to the students at the University of Rochester, School of Nursing. Jim also frequently lectures attorneys and claims professionals on various legal topics and on topics relating to technology.
Jim has extensive experience in the construction industry. Before law school, Jim was a mechanical engineer with Tishman Construction on numerous high-rise buildings in New York City. Jim is a certified lead renovator and holds a universal EPA 609 certification.
Jim values community services. He has served as a volunteer EMT with Victor Farmington Volunteer Ambulance Corp and as volunteer wilderness EMT with the Massasauga Search and Rescue Team. He has served as a board member and President, of Ironwood Homeowners Association. Jim is a licensed NYS Outdoor Guide, and holds a 50 Ton Master License with the US Coast Guard.
Jim obtained his Mechanical Engineering degree from Lehigh University and his juris doctorate degree from Pace University. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has previously served as chair of the Monroe County Bar Association, Small Practice and Technology Committee.
