Richard Turner, Esq.
Associate Attorney
Richard is an associate of the firm. He concentrates his practice on general negligence, personal injury, insurance coverage and commercial matters and he strives for excellence in his profession.
Richard is a lifelong resident of Rochester, growing up in the city. He obtained his Bachelors (B.S. Political Science, magna cum laude) at the State University of New York, College at Brockport.
Richard is a graduate of the University at Toledo College of Law. He was a Teaching Assistant for Property Law and was an Articles Editor on the Toledo Law Review. Richard is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and in the United Stated District Court for the Western District of New York. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Monroe County Bar Association.
Prior to his time at Vahey Law, Richard was an Assistant District Attorney. He prosecuted felony and misdemeanor crimes across the county. Before that, he worked at a large local law firm where he focused on foreclosures across New York State.
He currently resides in Greece with his wife. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and taking walks with his dogs.
