Attorney at Law
Elizabeth is an associate at Vahey Law Offices. Elizabeth is an attorney with experience in civil litigation, insurance defense, personal injury, and appellate practice. She has represented clients in both New York State and Federal Courts and has handled a broad range of litigation matters.
Prior to private practice, Elizabeth serves as an Appellate Court Attorney with the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department, where she worked on a variety of appellate matters and gained extensive experience in legal analysis and judicial decision-making.
Elizabeth earned her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law, where she was a member of the Justinian Honorary Law Society and the Journal of International Law & Commerce. During law school, she completed legal externships with both the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office and the Madison County District Attorney’s Office. She earned dual undergraduate degrees from Binghamton University in English Rhetoric and Philosophy, Politics & Law.
Elizabeth comes from a military family – her late mother retired as a Senior Master Sergeant after 28 years in the United States Air National Guard. She was raised in a small town outside of Syracuse, NY and moved to Rochester, NY with her partner, Steve, in 2026. She lives in the City of Rochester with her partner and their three cats and one dog.
Elizabeth believes strongly in the importance of community involvement and meaningful personal connection. She is passionate about contributing positively to the communities she serves and value opportunities to support and uplift those around her. As she begins this exciting new chapter in Rochester, NY, Elizabeth looks forward to becoming an active member of the local community and expanding her commitment to service and engagement throughout the region.
